A Newborn Session to Cherish ForeverWelcoming a newborn into the world is a magical experience filled with joy, love, and wonder. As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing these precious moments, freezing them in time for families to cherish for a lifetime.
It is moments like these that remind me why I am passionate about capturing life's most precious moments through the lens of my camera and why newborn sessions are my favourite.

" Hi hun, I'd like a newborn shoot. I like the classic style pics, black and white type thing and not overly styled so they are timeless " - client. Me... Super excited, totally looking forward to this little newborn session! It's not often I get asked to present all the images in black and white ONLY but my gosh, these just work so lovely in black and white... I'm in love with them all and it seems a lot of my followers on Facebook agree!! The most simple, but precious, timeless, gorgeous, lovely images ever. I can't wait to show my client the entire gallery! It's that cold time of the year now, and what perfect setting for a birthday cake smash, is a winter themed cake smash and splash. Hull isn't great for weather, and we don't really get much snow, but for one day only, we had some snow (not real of course) for our winter themed cake smash, for two little twins! How exciting! Twins in the studio! It was definitely a good call asking my assistant Codie to come and lend a helping hand. I haven't really had chance to blog much recently as we are so busy in the studio but currently, my little man Tommy is sleeping so I have a spare half hour to show you our wonderful winter wonderland themed cake smash with two little twins. This beautiful backdrop is supplied by PropsforTogs and WE LOVE IT! With all our cake smash and splash photography packages, we always do a mini portrait session before things get messy. and then we finish off in a lovely white roll top bath, how very posh ;) Thinking about booking a cake smash?

Cake Smash Photography, Hull - Samantha Jade Photography The big day arrived for the wedding of Sadie and James and what a fantastic day it was. We photographed their wedding on Saturday 23rd June, and the day kicked off at the Guild Hall followed by the reception at Butt Farm, in Beverly. The sun was shining with only a few clouds in the sky, the groom, the bride, the guests, everyone looked amazing. When we had previously met up with Sadie, Sadie had given us an envelope with a few items in, a stage plan, aka a table plan and a wrist band, then I realised this was a themed wedding. Another themed wedding! Yes! This was exciting. Sadie and James had a festival themed, rustic, TIPI wedding lots of music, lots of fun, dancing, laughter and beer, oh and tents for the guests to sleep in! WOW! So here are a few photo's from Saturdays wedding. Each guest was given an envelope including their wrist bands to get into the couples festival themed wedding reception after the ceremony at the guild hall. After a few circles around the town, Sadie and her Dad arrived at the Guild Hall. We love this! How cute are these two. James just picked Sadie up and gave her, her first kiss. Love is in the air! After the ceremony, we stayed in the Guildhall to photograph some of the group photos and family photos with Grandparents and parents, along with siblings. We then spent a bit of time with just Sadie and James inside too.
We can't believe it's been a whole week since the wedding of Laura and James. What a beautiful day for such a lovely couple. We had only met the pair properly once, at the pre wedding meeting, a couple of weeks before the big day. We met at the church in Rise, where the ceremony was taking place. Samantha had previously met Laura at a mutual friends BBQ a year or so ago, but hadn't actually met Laura properly. During the pre wedding meeting, we got super excited for this couples wedding, and we was also a little surprised, and curious as to how she would go about her theme, which was.... DISNEY! Laura had mentioned to us that there would be lots of colourful flowers, that she crafted the wedding herself, so of course, we couldn't wait to see. On the day of the wedding, we arrived at 9:30am, not long after the MUA and hair stylist had arrived. Laura and her bridesmaids was all pretty calm, with a few old school songs, r'n'b music playing in the background. We instantly got to work after introducing ourselves, and took a little trip into the garage next to the house, where Laura's friend, a florist was in there, doing the final touches. After speaking to these ladies, we was told that they had these flowers especially flown in for Laura's big day and they had been there since Thursday, getting everything ready... and later, you will see why it took these ladies so long.... WOW is all I will say right now. Pretty shoes, and a tractor. That's right, this girly is a farmer, and not the animal sort of famer, her family have a crop farm and as Laura had said during our pre wedding meeting, she would be arriving to the church in a..., well, have a guess...…. As part of the bridal preparations, we also get detailed photographs of shoes, dresses, flowers, gifts as well as candid photographs of the bridal party. Laura had got all three of her bridesmaids a lovely bracelet, with a charm, and a personlised bridesmaid cup, we think these are lovely keep sakes, especially those little bags! We spent about 3.5 hours with the girls in the morning, because the marquee was on the brides doorstep, we did get to photograph the detailed shots inside there before the guests saw it all, which was great. It was like a photographers dream. It was perfect. IT'S WEDDING TIME! Laura's Dad, Steve was lovely, he made us feel welcomed even though we was there to do a job, and we could tell straight away how proud he was of his daughter Laura, as you could see Laura was of him too. We met up with the groomsmen in plenty of time before Laura and her Dad arrived at the church in Rise, Hull. James seemed pretty cool, and not to nervous, but we could tell her couldn't wait to see Laura. He was with his best man, but we shall just call him BEST MAN for now as we can't remember his name... sorry best man, if your reading this :) Rustic setting for a farm wedding, it was just perfect. We spotted this barn when we arrived in the morning and straight away we suggested using it as a backdrop for some bride and groom photographs. We are glad we did as look how stunning these newly weds look, not to mention how happy, and in love they look! Now we get to the creative bit that Laura had spent so much time planning and making, and we have to give it to her, she should really start up an event planning business. Everything was personlised, and it was just beautiful. Little touches on each table, on the bars, on the cake table, the lot. Credit to Laura for the wonderful venue decoration you made.
