What is a cake smash and splash?
You have probably already seen a lot of people booking these sessions for their babies first birthdays, they are a popular way to mark that first birthday milestone. A cake smash is usually your babies first experience with something sweet, the cake. I like to express that it's very similar to messy play, with a very cute set up! It's all about having fun and exploring the different textures of the cake, the sponge, buttercream... My cake smash and splash sessions start with some clean portraits of your baby, and with the top package you can include parents/siblings within these clean portraits. Then, the fun part. The cake smash. This is where you will get super cute facial expressions from your little one as they explore their birthday cake! Some like to pick, tap and bash their cake and some like to dive straight in, head first for a lick or a bite of it. After this, your little one will enjoy some splashing fun in the miniature tub! Great way to end the session after getting messy with the cake smash but also great for those babies who we're a little unsure on the cake. Every baby loves splashing right?

How do I book?
My turnaround to get images back to you are 3 weeks max (not including prints) and these will be available to download via an online viewing gallery (USB's included with packages will be given with prints). If you're wanting the images back for their 1st birthday I recommend booking 3-4 weeks before their birthday.
You can book your session anywhere between 11 and 13 months. I advise you book in advance to make sure I can fit you in.
