I believe in creating magical and memorable moments for families to cherish forever. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing an adorable little boy's cake smash and splash session, - a dinosaur blue and green theme! 

The studio was set up with a vibrant blue and green backdrop from Props for Togs, dinosaur-themed props, and a custom-made cake that perfectly matched the theme brought by the clients as well as a personalised outfit for little B.

As a newborn photographer, I understand the importance of capturing genuine emotions and expressions. Throughout the cake smash session, I focused on capturing the little boy's wide-eyed wonder, and pure joy. Every moment was carefully documented, ensuring that his personality and happiness shone through in each photograph.

After the cake smash, it was time for a refreshing splash session. A mini bathtub filled with warm water and bath toys awaited our little adventurer. With splashes and bubbles, he enjoyed the water, creating adorable moments that were captured forever. His big sister ( who i photographed in 2022 for her cake smash and splash ) also took the opportunity to jump in the bath afterwards. 

At Samantha Jade Photography, my goal is to create lasting memories that families can cherish for a lifetime as well as a fun, messy experience.  This dinosaur blue and green themed cake smash and splash session was a perfect example of this. Oh Naomi! What a fun little girl you are! Turning one this month, but visited last month for her 1st birthday cake smash and splash photoshoot. Princess style! She was a princess that's for sure and I love her gallery so much! 

She did however, have another outfit for her cake smash. 

After a quick snooze, after Naomi nodded off sat up right, with her hands in her birthday cake... she woke and playing in the splash tub!

Lucca <3 
I first met Lucca last year, he had a newborn session with me, but due to lockdown it was postponed till April therefore he was a few months old for the session. A couple of weeks ago, he celebrated his first birthday and a couple of days before he had pre celebrations in my photography studio, with a cake smash and splash photography session. He certainly kept his Daddy on his toes during the shoot. I love this gallery so much. 

Well Christmas holidays was over in a flash, but I am glad to be back working and doing what I love. 
The first gallery of 2022 was completed last week and sent over to my client, from a lovely little newborn session. This family have visited me numerous of times before so it was a pleasure to be able to capture their newest addition to the family. 

This gallery is just really fresh and clean looking, I can certainly see myself creating some gorgeous wall art for my studio with some of the images from this newborn photography session. 

I adore this colour!

Alice and her family have been visiting my studio for over 5 years! Her Mummy is a very loyal client of mine and I'd like to say has become a friend also. Her big brother (who is always amazing during his photography sessions) has had many photography sessions with me at the studio, from portrait sessions, cake smashes, all types of mini sessions, sibling sessions, you name it! Alice is also following in his foot steps. 

Portraits are really important to my client, she can not get enough of them. Children grow and change so quick, so getting those professional photographs are a priority for my client, and most families who return over and over again.

What can I say, little baby Amrik loved his cake smash and splash photography session, despite being warned he maybe a little shy, he was amazing!
He got properly stuck into the photoshoot with his little cheekiness and cuteness and it just shows from the images below.

It's always a pleasure to have a customer back in my photography studio numerous times, and watching their little bundles of joy grow. Drew's had multi photo shoots with me, with his aunts and nannas, cousins and his mummy! He is such a little cutie and amazing to photograph!

When his Mummy asked for this themed cake smash, I was all over it. I do love a good neutral themed set up and just how gorgeous is this cake smash and splash. 

On Friday 16th April little Freddie visited the studio for his 1st birthday cake smash and splash photo-shoot! 
Prior to the shoot, Freddie's Mum had mentioned in the pre cake smash questionnaire that Freddie was a little shy... I think you will see from the photographs you are about to see that Freddie... was not shy. Freddie had LOTS OF FUN!

I always start my birthday sessions with a mini portrait shoot, which also include a few props for little one to play about with and on. Usually, for a shy child, the little moon stool works great for the curious mind...

The mini photo-shoot can include siblings and parents at an additional cost, however there is no extra charge with the top birthday package for this. 

These mini sessions last about 10-15 minutes, a great way for me to quickly learn how your baby reacts to me, and for me to get to know them quickly! 

Freddie didn't eat much of his cake, and that's ok, because this cake is for playing with and that's exactly what Freddie did! It's all about capturing their experience with something that is meant to be their first experience of something sweet and sugary.

This handsome little chap visited the studio on the 4th July for his 1st birthday Cake Smash and Splash session. Everything blue for this little guy which totally complimented those big blue eyes of his and blonde curly / wavy hair and his beautiful little smile.

.You may of seen the prop chair in my studio or on other photographs previously. During lockdown I gave it a little make over and painted it white with some Frenchic from The Beverley Flower Company 

Occasionally, we do have a few little melt downs...

But it's ok, it's hard work turning ONE. We get back up and on with it...

and make a BIG splash in the tub!

It was such a pleasure having this little guy in the studio and I hope he has a fantastic birthday.

It's that cold time of the year now, and what perfect setting for a birthday cake smash, is a winter themed cake smash and splash. Hull isn't great for weather, and we don't really get much snow, but for one day only, we had some snow (not real of course) for our winter themed cake smash, for two little twins! 

How exciting! Twins in the studio! It was definitely a good call asking my assistant Codie to come and lend a helping hand. I haven't really had chance to blog much recently as we are so busy in the studio but currently, my little man Tommy is sleeping so I have a spare half hour to show you our wonderful winter wonderland themed cake smash with two little twins. 

This beautiful backdrop is supplied by PropsforTogs and WE LOVE IT! 

With all our cake smash and splash photography packages, we always do a mini portrait session before things get messy.
