Naomi is turning one! Oh Naomi! What a fun little girl you are! Turning one this month, but visited last month for her 1st birthday cake smash and splash photoshoot. Princess style! She was a princess that's for sure and I love her gallery so much!  Mum brought her in this gorgeous big pink dress for some clean portraits! Naomi mum brought her in this gorgeous big pink princess dress for a few photographs before things for a bit messy. Safe to say, she looked very much like a princess. She did however, have another outfit for her cake smash.  Now for the messy stuff!Naomi was so tired, bless her. She did make me and her mummy work for some smiles, but when we got them they melted us. Such a sweet little one.  Naomi enjoyed playing with her cake and the splash!After a quick snooze, after Naomi nodded off sat up right, with her hands in her birthday cake... she woke and playing in the splash tub! Lucca's Cake Smash and Splash - Samantha Jade Photography - Hull Lucca during his mini session. The past before the cake smash when everyone stays nice and clean. Lucca <3 I first met Lucca last year, he had a newborn session with me, but due to lockdown it was postponed till April therefore he was a few months old for the session. A couple of weeks ago, he celebrated his first birthday and a couple of days before he had pre celebrations in my photography studio, with a cake smash and splash photography session. He certainly kept his Daddy on his toes during the shoot. I love this gallery so much.  The seat that became a push along toy during the session. Lucca had us all laughing. The first gallery of 2022 was completed last week and sent over to my client, from a lovely little newborn session. This family have visited me numerous of times before so it was a pleasure to be able to capture their newest addition to the family.  This gallery is just really fresh and clean looking, I can certainly see myself creating some gorgeous wall art for my studio with some of the images from this newborn photography session. Her Mummy is a very loyal client of mine and I'd like to say has become a friend also. Her big brother (who is always amazing during his photography sessions) has had many photography sessions with me at the studio, from portrait sessions, cake smashes, all types of mini sessions, sibling sessions, you name it! Alice is also following in his foot steps. Portraits are really important to my client, she can not get enough of them. Children grow and change so quick, so getting those professional photographs are a priority for my client, and most families who return over and over again. Arlo's Cake Smash and Splash - Fun themed birthday portrait photography - Studio based in Hull6/24/2021  Is they a better way to celebrate a 1st birthday? A whole giant gorgeous, yummy cake to eat and play with! For most babies, it's their first experience of tasting something sweet and capturing their expressions is a fab way of marking that 1st birthday milestone. My cake smash sessions can be almost any theme of your choice, I have lots of themes to choose from however I am always open to suggestions should you have an idea in mind about what theme you'd like.       It's always a pleasure to have a customer back in my photography studio numerous times, and watching their little bundles of joy grow. Drew's had multi photo shoots with me, with his aunts and nannas, cousins and his mummy! He is such a little cutie and amazing to photograph! When his Mummy asked for this themed cake smash, I was all over it. I do love a good neutral themed set up and just how gorgeous is this cake smash and splash.      On Friday 16th April little Freddie visited the studio for his 1st birthday cake smash and splash photo-shoot! Prior to the shoot, Freddie's Mum had mentioned in the pre cake smash questionnaire that Freddie was a little shy... I think you will see from the photographs you are about to see that Freddie... was not shy. Freddie had LOTS OF FUN!  Pre cake smash session  Also known as a mini session. Parents are welcome to join in the mini session when purchasing the top package at no extra cost.  I always start my birthday sessions with a mini portrait shoot, which also include a few props for little one to play about with and on. Usually, for a shy child, the little moon stool works great for the curious mind... The mini photo-shoot can include siblings and parents at an additional cost, however there is no extra charge with the top birthday package for this. These mini sessions last about 10-15 minutes, a great way for me to quickly learn how your baby reacts to me, and for me to get to know them quickly!  Ohhh what is this?! Freddie didn't eat much of his cake, and that's ok, because this cake is for playing with and that's exactly what Freddie did! It's all about capturing their experience with something that is meant to be their first experience of something sweet and sugary.  First taste...  This handsome little chap visited the studio on the 4th July for his 1st birthday Cake Smash and Splash session. Everything blue for this little guy which totally complimented those big blue eyes of his and blonde curly / wavy hair and his beautiful little smile.  .You may of seen the prop chair in my studio or on other photographs previously. During lockdown I gave it a little make over and painted it white with some Frenchic from The Beverley Flower Company  Occasionally, we do have a few little melt downs...  But it's ok, it's hard work turning ONE. We get back up and on with it...  and make a BIG splash in the tub! It was such a pleasure having this little guy in the studio and I hope he has a fantastic birthday.
  I am back and although nervous, extremely excited to be back in the studio after the COVID19 lockdown! All precautions in place and ready to rock n roll again. Todays session was... a CAKE SMASH! For those of you who know me, or have read other posts, know I love a cake smash. One of my goals (providing I have parents consent for sharing images) is to keep my blog alive and share share share my work for you all to see.
