Hi, I’m Sammy, the face behind Samantha Jade Photography, and I thought it was about time you got to know the people (and pups) who make my world go round!

I spend so much of my time capturing other families’ special memories, so it feels only right to share a little peek into my own. After all, family is at the heart of everything I do.

My Little Crew ❤

First up, there’s Adam, my wonderful husband and biggest supporter. He’s the calm to my chaos, the one who keeps me grounded when I’m juggling editing, sessions, and family life. You might not see him in the studio, but he’s the one cheering me on behind the scenes and often helping me clean up after cake smashes and aiding in balloon arches. On top of that, I am a very proud wife as he also works just as hard, if not harder sometimes running his own business.

Then there are my boys, my biggest inspiration for what I do. Watching them grow from tiny newborns into their own little people is what truly sparked my love for photography. Those early days, the sleepy snuggles, the chubby cheeks, the blink-and-you-miss-it milestones that’s where it all began for me, properly anyways... I've always had a passion for photography even though it started with landscapes and fast cars!

And of course, I can’t forget our two dogs, who are just as much a part of the family! My little fur babies, Roxy and Diasy. Roxy is a lhasa apso and Daisy is a shihzhu. They’re always up for an adventure, especially when we’re away in our caravan exploring the countryside or spending weekends by the water with our paddle boards. It’s our way of switching off and soaking up family time... And, if we're not out and about, we're playing games and snuggling on the sofa... I'm a massive Nintendo Dreamlight valley fan, it's my way of switching off. 

Why Family Means Everything

Having a family of my own has taught me just how fast life changes, one minute you’re cradling a tiny newborn, and the next you’re chasing them across the park, or dragging them out of bed in those teen years otherwise they'll be late for school...

When families come into my studio, I completely understand what those memories mean. I know the feeling of wanting to hold onto every stage, from baby’s first smile to their first birthday, and beyond. That’s why I pour my heart into every session because I’ve been there too. It's not just about those perfect smiley faces, it's those screwed up faces, angelic moments and laughter.
